Abstract
Transverse-energy spectra in gold-gold collisions have been calculated for the STAR and PHENIX experiments at RHIC. These spectra have been shown to b e sensitive to the form of nuclear-shadowing parametrization and to the dep endence of the parton structure functions of nuclei on spatial variables.
