After a discussion, concerning the existence of a link between "evolutive d
ysharmonies " of the CFTMEA, the MSDD (Multisystemic Developmental Disorder
s) of the Zero-to-Three and the Multiplex Developmental Disorder of the Yal
e group, the authors present a research which attempts to verify that these
troubles respond to early psychotherapeutic interventions directed at the
mother-child relationship.
The research involved the selection of 11 children, less than three years o
f age, an initial evaluation reevaluation of each child after 6 and 12 mont
hs by the Griffith test and of the mother-baby interaction by the MIIG test
. Also, application during one year of a mother-baby psychotherapeutic trea
tment. The authors expose their therapeutic model and specify the way they
intervene on parental representations, the language of interpretations and
the effort to create a symbolic playing space in the mother-child relations
hip.
The results show the mobilization, of the emotional climate and the nature
of the representations of the mother. The child's positive evolution concer
ns not only social developmental scales but also a scale of coordination an
d language performance. Our research seems to show that although it is rare
for these children to fully recover, they tend, during the period of treat
ment, to be better organized and present troubles of a more sectorial natur
e.
