Abstract
The superconducting transition temperature T(c) of quench condensed th in films of bismuth and gallium have been observed to rise as a result of the deposition of silver on the films surface. Increase in the cri tical temperature DELTAT(c) was depended on the thickness of the super conducting film and DELTAT(c) almost-equal-to 1K for the very thin fil ms. The effect stems from a suppression of the localization of electro ns due to a decrease of the films resistance.
