Il. Landau et Ia. Parshin, INCREASE IN THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION-TEMPERATURE OF THIN-FILMS AS A RESULT OF A NORMAL-METAL DEPOSITION ON THEIR SURFACE, Physica. B, Condensed matter, 194, 1994, pp. 2339-2340
The superconducting transition temperature T(c) of quench condensed th
in films of bismuth and gallium have been observed to rise as a result
of the deposition of silver on the films surface. Increase in the cri
tical temperature DELTAT(c) was depended on the thickness of the super
conducting film and DELTAT(c) almost-equal-to 1K for the very thin fil
ms. The effect stems from a suppression of the localization of electro
ns due to a decrease of the films resistance.
