Abstract
Two cationic mixed-ligand complexes. [Co(L)cyc]NO3. C2H5OH (A) and [Co-2(L) tpmc](ClO4)(2) CH3CN (B), were prepared. where cyc = 1,4,8,11-tetraaza-cycl otetradecane, tpmc = N,N',N",N"'-tetrakis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,4,8,11-tetraaz a cyclotetradecane and L = bicyclo[2.2.1]-hept-5-en-endo-2,3-cis-dicarboxyl ate dianion. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, ion-ex change chromatography, magnetic moments, conductance measurements, IR, C-13 NMR and UV/VIS spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. It is suggested that t he complexes A and B have octahedral structures with endobidentate or exo-( bis)-bidentate coordination of L.
