Abstract
From Fissistigma bracteolatum Chatt. (Annonaceae), a Vietnamese folk medici nal plant, the novel type natural products fissistigmatin A-D (1-4), being composed of a flavonoid and a sesquiterpene moiety, were isolated. Their st ructures were elucidated by extensive NMR techniques, MS, CD, molecular mod elling calculations and X-ray analysis. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
