Abstract
In a group of normal pressure glaucomas, the eyes with type beta peripapill ary atrophy showed lower flow velocities than did the eyes where this pecul iar aspect of the posterior pole was not to be found. These results would s eem to support a theory of vascular abnormality influence on peripapillary atrophy development.
