In this study, a second-order standard addition method based on alternating
trilinear decomposition (ATLD-SOSAM) was developed. It was applied to seco
nd-order HPLC-DAD data and compared to methods employing direct trilinear d
ecomposition (DTLD) and PARAFAC. The results show that ATLD-SOSAM is slight
ly superior to both DTLD-SOSAM and PARAFAC-SOSAM.
