Abstract
Classical Yang-Mills field equations on Minkowski space with gaugegroup SU( 2) are determined. Solutions invariant up to a gaugetransformation under a four-dimensional subgroup of the conformalgroup are evaluated for the Yang- Mills field in the absence ofmatter. Some properties of the solutions of th e equations such astheir asymptotic behaviour are obtained.
