Abstract
A sodium vanadate precipitation study was conducted via neutralisation with H2SO4, of alkaline aqueous solutions containing V2O5. Effects of some oper ational variables such as H2SO4 concentration in the titration solution, st irring intensity, aging solution, rate of neutralisation through the additi on of inorganic acid to the V2O5 solution, initial pH of precipitation and cooling rate after complete neutralisation on the precipitation of sodium v anadates in sulphuric acid media at 60 degrees C were investigated.
