Abstract
In this Note we prove the existence and the uniqueness of the solution of a free boundary problem formulated as a shape optimization problem. The proo f of this result is based on Schauder's principle [6]. (C) 2000 Academie de s sciences/Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
