Abstract
In the past year, a Caenorhabditis elegans-Pseudomonas aeruginosa pathogene sis model has been developed to facilitate the systematic dissection of bot h host and pathogen genes involved in pathogenic interactions. Analysis of the P. aeruginosa-C. elegans interaction should shed light on the larger qu estion of how organisms interact at the molecular level in antagonistic rel ationships.
