We report the results of a search for CP-violating decay rate asymmetr
ies (A(CP)) in the charm decay modes DC+ --> K(-)K(+)pi(+), D+ --> (KK
+)-K-0, D+ --> phi pi(+), and D-0 --> K+K-. Our measurements are all
consistent with zero asymmetry: A(CP)(KK pi) = -0.03 +/- 0.068, A(CP)(
(KK)-K-) = -0.12 +/- 0.13, A(CP)(phi pi)=0.066 +/- 0.086, and A(CP)(K
K) = 0.024 +/- 0.084. The data were accumulated by the Fermilab high e
nergy photoproduction experiment E687.
