Abstract
The main features of durability design of weld structures containing initia l technological defects are considered. Among these features are: (1) struc tural analysis of welded structures; (2) simulation of limit states and eva luation of reliability of welds and, (3) optimisation and ensuring a given reliability of structures. The main results of simulation are given for: fa tigue curves, reliability functions, complete probabilistic life diagrams, diagrams of defect standardisation and probabilistic durability surfaces.
