Abstract
Tunable UV laser light has been demonstrated under pulsed pumping by self-f requency summing the pump beam in the (4)G(5/2) - (2)G(7/2) levels of Nd3near 590 nm and the NYAB laser emission at 1062 nm. We have exhibited the U V excitation spectrum as the proof of the UV tunability in the 377-383 nm r ange. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
