O. Pitiot et al., A potential set up based on histidine hollow fiber membranes for the extracorporeal removal of human antibodies, J MEMBR SCI, 166(2), 2000, pp. 221-227
Poly ethylene vinyl alcohol (PEVA) based hollow fiber membrane grafted with
L-histidine has been found to be particularly useful for the preparative s
cale separation of immunoglobulin G and potential clinical applications. In
this paper, we present a set-up designed for the extracorporeal removal of
immunoglobulin G. Biochemical and hydrodynamic conditions were optimized s
o as to perform in vitro removal of 50% of plasma immunoglobulin G. (C) 200
