Abstract
The ruthenium(II) polypyridine labeled cytochrome c(3) derivative, Ru(bpy)( 2)(dcbpy)-cytochrome c(3), was synthesized and characterized by using spect roscopic techniques and applied to hydrogen evolution. Ru(bpy)(2)(dcbpy)-cy tochrome c(3) can be used as a substrate on hydrogen evolution with hydroge nase. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
