Abstract
MePdCl[3-methyl-5-(2-pyridinyl)pyrazole] (1 and 2), PdCl2[3-methyl-5-(2-pyr idinyl)pyrazole] (3), and bis{MePd[3-methyl-5-(2-pyridinyl)pyrazole] } (4) were synthesized, and structural assignment was performed by H-1-,C-13-,N-1 5-NMR spectroscopy. By comparison of their N-15-NMR spectra. the relationsh ip between bond strength of the palladium-nitrogen bond and chemical shift was analyzed. X-ray diffraction analysis of 4 was also achieved.
