Abstract
The reaction via a Pd(II)/CuI catalyst of phenylethynyl(trimethyl)stannane (Me3SnC=CPh) with Ru-2(chp)(4)Cl, Ru-2(bhp)(4)Cl and Ru-2(ap)(4)Cl gave the organometallic terminal alkynes Ru-2(chp)(4)C=CPh (1), Ru-2(bhp)(4)C=CPh ( 2) and Ru-2(ap)(4)C=CPh (3), respectively in 80-85% yields, without an atta ck on other functionalities.
