Abstract
We propose a method leading to a design for non-periodic diffractive phase elements (DPEs) that can implement wavelength (de)multiplexing in the 1520- 1560 nm region. The numerical simulation results show that this resulting m odelised device has non-polarisation sensitivity and can implement several optical functions (color separator, (de)multiplexer, coupler, router).
