Abstract
We found that the action of a normally incident, circularly polarized, focu sed laser beam on the light-sensitive AgCl-Ag film generates a system of sp ontaneous gratings whose wave vectors orientation are subject to hexagonal symmetry. It is shown that two-dimensional Bragg diffraction plays a crucia l role in the formation of this system. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
