Abstract
We study the structure of He isotopes systematically using a model in which the frameworks of the antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD) and the gen erator coordinate method (GCM) are combined. The present AMD+GCM can reprod uce basic features of the isotopes, for example halo structures in He-6 and tendency of the binding energies of the isotopes within relatively small n umber of basis functions. In He-7, the importance of two configurations, He -6-n and (He-4-n)-2n, is shown for the ground state. In He-8, the calculate d rms radius is smaller than the experimental one.
