Abstract
For the unsteady heat transfer between hot air and packed granular bed, a h eterogeneous model has been advanced in which the heat loss towards the ext erior was considered. The theoretical distribution of the gaseous phase tem perature has been compared to the experimental values, a satisfactory agree ment being thus obtained.
