Abstract
Exact knowledge of an additive and its concentration in a plastics mat erial helps, e.g. in damage analysis, to explain changed product prope rties. By using pyrolysis GC-MS and comparing the pyrolysis fragments with an additive spectrum library this can be accomplished very quickl y.
