Abstract
The data concerning the structure of phosphorus-containing allenes and their reactions with electrophilic reagents are reviewed for the firs t time. It is shown that the influence of intramolecular interactions on the reactivity of the unsaturated centres changes the selectivity o f reactions of phosphorus-containing allenes with electrophilic reagen ts. Depending on the nature of the reagent and the structure of the al lene, various schemes of interaction can be accomplished.
