Abstract
Simple procedures for preparation of 2-(4-methylthiazolyl) dichlorophosphin e and wide variety of 2-phosphorylated benzothiazoles are reported. Efficie nt promoters and catalysts were found for the key transformation, direct ph osphorylation of the heterocyclic compounds by PCl3 (PBr3 as a promoter) or by P(V) acid chlorides (HgCl2 as a catalyst).
