Abstract
This paper establishes explicit inequalities estimating the spatial decay a nd growth of solutions of the initial boundary value problems within the co ntext of the theory of incremental thermoelasticity for bounded and unbound ed bodies. The method of proof is based on the integration of a first order differential inequality for a certain time weighted surface measure associ ated with the solution in question.
