Abstract
The geostrophical circulation and the structure of current field are a nalaysed on the basis of two hydrographic surveys and seven moored cur rent measurements. The statisticsal parameters of currents, their vari ability and kinetic energy of the synoptical and mesoscale oscillation s were calculated and analyzed. The spectral features of the current f ield were studied.
