Abstract
Grimes having 5-benzyl-2,3-thiazolidinedione were prepared, and their PPAR gamma agonistic activities and blood glucose lowering activities were evalu ated. Biaromatic and methyl groups, attached to the oxime moiety, and the e thylene bridge between oxime and phenoxy groups are favorable to biological activities. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
