High resolution palynological analyses (up to one sample about 45 years) of
lacustrine and palustrine infillings from Jurassian and Subalpine areas un
able to approach in great detail the dynamics of vegetation in late-glacial
, specially during the "Bolling/Allerod" Interstadial (12,600 to 11,000 yea
rs B.P.).
These profiles show swift microfluctuations of the heliophilous herbaceous
species, Poaceae, Betula and Pinus. These variations could be correlated wi
th cold oscillations recorded in ice and marine cores i.e. the "Older Dryas
", the "Gerzensee oscillation" and an "intra Bolling oscillation".
