Abstract
We present two improvements of a routine method of analysis of biogenic pol yamines after their derivatisation with dabsyl chloride. The use of berate buffer during dabsylation offers much better reproducibility then bicarbona te one. Also trichloracetic acid extraction of polyamines from biological s amples was found to be superior to perchloric acid extraction. Our studies eliminate the possibility to determine together biogenic polyamines and ami no-acids using common extraction procedure.
