Abstract
Microextraction technique in liquid phase with the use of the fibres coated with polydimethylsiloxane phase for separation trichloromethane, tetrachlo romethane and 1,1,1-trichloroethane from drinking water samples coming from the Upper Silesia was applied. Quantitative analysis was performed by usin g Gas Chromatography with electron capture detection (ECD) detector. The co ntents of investigated compounds did not exceed the maximum permissible con centration recommended by WHO.
