Gm. Zenova et al., Vertical-storey stratification of oligosporeous actinomycetes in differenttypes of biogeocenoses, EURAS SOIL, 33(2), 2000, pp. 201-204
The distribution of oligosporeous actinomycetes, conventionally combining t
he representatives of the genera Actinomadura, Saccaromonospora, and Thermo
monospora, Nocardia in the vertical-storey structure of forest, steppe, and
semidesert biogeocenoses, was studied, and the share of the oligosporeous
forms in the actinomycetes complexes was determined. The presence of calciu
m and decomposing organic matter in the substrate promotes the development
of oligosporeous actinomycetes. Oligosporeous actinomycetes are not rare in
biogeocenoses and are most often found in coniferous forest and semidesert
biogeocenoses.
