Abstract
Oxygen at trace level in calcium fluoride was determined by instrumental de
uteron activation analysis based on the O-16(d.n)F-17 reaction. The irradia
tions were performed with 2.5 MeV deuterons for 60 s at currents: ranging f
rom 300 to 500 nA. The results obtained for powders and single crystals wer
e compared.
