Abstract
The regio- and stereoselective addition reaction of various methyl glycosid es having an N-acetylglucosamine unit to the oxazoline derivative of N-acet yllactosamine has been achieved by using a chitinase as catalyst, giving ri se to the corresponding oligosaccharides.
