Bisoprolol in chronic heart failure

The evidence for the use of beta-blockers in heart failure is substantial. Latest recommendations and guidelines suggest that retest heart failure pat ients should be on a drug regimen of an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhib itor diuretic and a beta-blocker. However, despite the evidence front trial s, the majority of patient are not yet treated appropriately, with only 5% receiving a beta-blocker.
