Ultrasonic velocity and density of ammonium soaps in 2-propanol have been m
easured at different temperatures (308-323K), Using these data. critical mi
celle concentration (CMC). adiabatic compressibility, apparent molar compre
ssibility, molar sound velocity, molar sound compressibility. specific acou
stic impedance, relative association constant, solvation number and apparen
t molar volume have been evaluated. These parameters show a change at CMC s
uggesting the micellar behaviour of soaps. The effect of temperature on the
se parameters has also been studied.
