Abstract
Airbag-induced injury fatality is increasing in frequency, We present the c ase of a 6-year-old passenger who sustained a fatal atlanto-occipital dislo cation associated with airbag deployment in a low-speed motor vehicle crash . The current literature regarding airbag fatalities and methods to amelior ate airbag-induced injury are reviewed. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Inc.
