Abstract
An automated system for on-line determination of the dissolution rates of d rug-delivery formulations to USP Methods I and II is described. The system employs UT/-vis spectroscopy utilizing either a fiber-optic probe for direc t determination or the option of on-line flow through analysis with prior f iltration. The system is also capable of on-line flow through analysis util izing both UV-vis and fluorescence defection and an off-line storage option for further sample processing. The system also comprises a complete IT sol ution including a simple user interface, data archival to an NT server, rem ote client server interrogation of the database, and automatic report gener ation.
