Abstract
Several studies have been implemented before the negociation of the new CAP reform, in order to evaluate the potential of renewable raw materials in n on-food outlets. These studies ail agree to mention that environmental issu es might boost the use of European oils seeds in the technical and chemical industries. The expected rise could exceed 100% till 2010. The sectors con cern ed are mainly those of lubricants, solvents and soaps. The sector of b iofuels, not belonging to oleo-chemistry, was not considered in this study. The aim of the lecture is to detail the updated data that led to this figu re.
