First results on stratigraphy, archeology, and paleoecology in the Tsagan-A
gui Cave (Mongolia) are discussed. The palynological analysis along with ra
diothermoluminescence and magnetostratigraphic dating allowed the stratigra
phic units to be defined in the stratified sequence of cave deposits and th
e archeological complexes to be dated. The archeological complexes of the T
sagan-AEui Cave are correlated with those from the Flint Valley and Narin-G
ol open-air sites.
