The kinetic laws of the thermal dissociation of 1,2-bis(4'-dimethylaminophe
nyl)diphthaloylethane to generate stable radicals in cellulose triacetate a
t 320-370 K, as dependent on the content of filler (aerosil), were studied.
It was established that the filler strongly affects the pattern of the tem
perature dependence for the yield of radicals. The kinetic parameters of th
e radical dissociation are determined by a change in the polymer structure
during formation of boundary layers.
