Abstract
Migration of a plasticizer mixture from a vulcanized SKN-26M butadiene-nitr ile rubber and the effect of sample surface fluorination on this process we re studied, Various kinetic models are proposed and analyzed, and the optim um conditions of their application are found. Methods for calculating the d iffusion coefficients are developed and factors governing the plasticizer d esorption from elastomers upon the surface treatment are discussed.
