Abstract
Measurements of the amplitude and phase of a beam of transverse ultrasonic waves propagating in tungsten and molybdenum crystals in the presence of ma gnetic field are performed. Under the conditions of the Doppler-shifted aco ustic cyclotron resonance, a magnetically induced contribution to the phase of oscillations is observed, this contribution being even with respect to the magnetic field. Such a result testifies to the presence of the internal conical refraction that is caused by the magnetic field in the crystals un der study. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
