Abstract
The photochromic system of 2-hydroxy-4'-merhoxychalcone was found to be a n ovel photon-mode erasable system with nondestructive readout ability. The f atigue resistant property of the photochromic system of 2-hydroxy-4'-merhox ychalcone has been confirmed at least up to 10 write-and-erase cycles.
