Abstract
Reactivity of low-valent molybdenum prepared from MoCl5 with various reduci ng metals in DME, was dependent on the reducing metals in the order of Al > Sn, In > Zn, Mg, Li in the case of cyclotrimerization of alkynes. This ord er is par allel to the acidity of the descendant Lewis acids.
