Abstract
We consider a slender particle of straight centre-line (the line to which i t collapses as its slenderness ratio is an element of vanishes) and of poss ibly non-uniform zeta potential. The body, not necessarily of circular cros s-section, is embedded in a given electric field of revolution about the ce ntre-line. Under those assumptions, this work asymptotically approximates, with respect to is an element of, the electrophoretic motion of the particl e.
