Abstract
Using massively parallel computing, the Center for Integrated Turbulence Si mulations is advancing the physics-based numerical simulation of aircraft e ngine flow and combustion. It is also helping to develop the advanced compu ter platforms necessary to perform these simulations. This article outlines the CITS' challenges, program, and progress.
