Abstract
Peanut protein being an allergen of high potency, reliable and sensitive me thods are needed to detect peanut material in foodstuffs and thereby protec t allergic persons. The methods used in the course of these investigations fulfill these demands ii suitable antisera are applied. The results of the analysis of commercial goods illustrate the necessity of such investigations.
