Abstract
Most previous research on radiation emission from printed circuit boards (P CBs) has assumed that the signal line length is constant and the ground pla ne dimension is infinite. This paper elucidates the influence of signal lin e length and ground plane dimensions on radiated emission of PCBs. Radiated emissions from signal lines and the ground plane are calculated by the tra nsmission line model and the method of moments, respectively. The calculati on results agree well with the measurement results. (C) 2000 Scripta Techni ca, Electron Comm Jpn Pt 2, 83(3): 53-61, 2000.
