Abstract
A one-pot synthesis method of substituted carbazole-9-acetic/propionic acid with microwave-assisted was described. The approach was carried out using DMF as solvent without any catalysts by the N-alkylation reaction and hydro lysis reaction. The absorption and fluorescence spectroscopic characteristi cs of the titled compounds are also discussed.
